Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Simple Baby Widget ("we", "us", or "the app") handles your information. By using the app, you agree to the practices described below.
Simple Baby Widget is designed to keep your data private. The information you enter — such as a baby's name, due date or birth date, growth records, heart letters, and widget preferences — is stored locally on your device only. We do not upload this content to our servers or send it to advertising, analytics, or purchase providers.
The app does not require an account. We do not ask for, or collect, personal data such as your name, email address, phone number, or location through the app itself.
We use Firebase Analytics, provided by Google, to understand app usage, measure advertising performance, and improve the service. It may process app-instance identifiers, device and app information, approximate region, advertising identifiers when permitted, and interaction events. We do not include baby names, dates, measurements, heart letters, or other user-entered content in analytics events.
The phone app displays banner ads and occasional app-open ads through Google Mobile Ads. Google may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device and app information, ad interactions, and diagnostic data to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable law.
On iOS, we request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework before allowing the advertising identifier (IDFA) to be used for personalized advertising or advertising measurement across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you decline, the app will continue to show ads without sending the IDFA. Privacy-preserving attribution, including SKAdNetwork, may still be used.
Ads are not loaded in watch apps or home-screen widgets. Purchasing Remove Ads disables ads in the phone app.
Optional in-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user identifier, product and entitlement information, transaction receipts, purchase status, device/app information, and limited technical data needed to validate and restore purchases. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Baby-related data stays on your device until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app. Third-party providers retain analytics, advertising, and transaction records according to their own policies and applicable legal requirements. Apple or Google may retain purchase history associated with your store account so purchases can be restored.
These providers may process data in countries outside your own under their respective privacy policies and applicable safeguards.
The app is intended for parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can delete locally stored content in the app or by uninstalling it. You can decline the iOS tracking request, change tracking permission later in iOS Settings, and use the in-app advertising privacy options when available in your region. You can remove ads with the optional one-time purchase and restore an eligible purchase from the app's settings. Privacy requests may be sent to the contact address below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date shown at the top of this page.
